Zespol Szkol
i Placowek Specjalnych
Poland
Zespol Szkol i Placówek Specjalnych in Krakow – The Special Schools and Institutions Complex in Krakow provides education and care for students with special educational needs and students at risk of social maladjustment. The main educational purpose of the ZSiPS is to create opportunities for comprehensive development (social, emotional, intellectual) of the student – a pupil that meets his/her potential abilities, interests and talents.
The implementation of this goal is possible thanks to shaping the attitudes of charges based on respect for other people and respect for historical and cultural heritage. Shaping appropriate features to facilitate the charges’ participation in social and professional life is the base of all activities the school proposes. We promote a creative atmosphere of cooperation and support for parents (guardians) in raising a child, making them aware of their children’s development opportunities. We improve methods and forms that equalize the chances of students with educational difficulties.
